Returns Policy

RETURNS POLICY 
from 24th October 2023

Here at NutTAG, we strive to ensure you are satisfied & love your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with our products, we offer a refund (excludes sale items) or exchange within 30 days for all products (excluding GPS watches) & 14 days for GPS watches from the delivered date, this can be located on the Australia Post website. 

To initiate any return please contact sales@nuttag.com.au requesting for a Return Authorisation.

All returns must comply with the correct procedures:

1. Contact our support team for the RA link

2. Complete Returns Authorisation Form

3. Once approved, you’’ll be supplied further instructions, including and RA number

REFUNDS

To be eligible for a refund of your recent purchase, all conditions must be agreed to and complied with as directed.

Conditions and requirements:

• All refund requests to your product must be 30/14 days*, from the delivered date.

• You are prepared to cover the return postage fees and understand that all postage fees are non-refundable.

• There is NO physical damage or water damage to the device.

• The product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, in all original packaging with any additional items from the box included. 

• All returns are assessed by our team of professionals and there MAY be additional deductions from the amount refunded in accordance with the outcome.

• If you are unable to meet any/some of the outlined conditions, you must notify a team member before the return is initiated. 

* 30/14 days: 30 days for all products excluding watches. 14 days for GPS watches. Any request received outside these specified timeframes will not be accepted.

All refunds will incur a restocking fee of $6.25 which will be deducted from the refund value. Please note refunds can take up to 10 business days to be processed once the device has been received by NutTag.

EXCHANGES

To be eligible to exchange your purchase, you must first meet all conditions and procedures as stated before your return is initiated.

Conditions and requirements:

• You have spoken with a member of our Customer Care team for troubleshooting assistance, and;

- requested an exchange for the product, with acceptable reasoning, or otherwise;

- received a request from our Customer Care team to return your device due to system or manufacturing issues which we will be replaced for a new device.

• You are within the warranty period covered for the purchased product which is 12 months for all primary products & all accessory items.

• You agree to cover the return postage fees.

• There is NO physical damage, or water damage to the device, as this is not covered by warranty, and we are unable to exchange your device.

It connects to the best available mobile network - just like a phone - to provide location data everywhere your pet goes. To balance between useful updates and long battery life, Spot GPS does not work in 100% real-time. But you’ll get alerts within 15 seconds.

Usually, it’s because your smart device is near a WiFi “dead zone.” Not all homes are built with the same materials and some can disrupt WiFi connection and GPS accuracy. If your device finds one of these dead zones, it may place your pet’s location outside of your pet’s designated safe place

No, your Spot tracker is like a miniature cell phone for your dog! As such, it requires its own cellular plan, but is separate from the plan you have for your own phone. We leverage Telstra’s 4G network to provide you the greatest coverage and fastest response, but you don’t need to be Telstra customer to use Spot. Your 360 subscription plan takes care of the cellular connection, so you can keep on adventuring with no interruptions.

We want to do everything we can to make sure you have a great experience with your Spot. If you're having technical difficulties with your device or our app, we'd love the opportunity to fix this. To do this, please contact our support team with any questions or feedback by booking a support call at www.nuttag.com.au/booking. Otherwise, if you would still like to cancel, you may request to do so, and we will refund any remaining subsciption costs from your 1-year Telstra SIM plan.

Yes, our subscription includes access to a web portal and mobile app. The app gives you full control of your GPS device from your phone with ease.. You can check live location, set geofences and receive alerts directly on you phone, as well as change your GPS settings

App & Subscription

When you set up Spot, you can only choose one pet to assign the tracker to. You will need to purchase an additional Spot tracker and subscription for each additional pet - but they will all connect to the same app.

Yes it does, the new spot is designed to slip onto a collar. We also have pouch bags that fit any dog collar, it is made of a silicon rubber for all weather durability.

Battery levels are dependant on your individual settings and the amount of activity. The most effective settings which can gain 1-4 days is accelerometer activation (place the unit into deep sleep mode when not moving) and extend your reporting interval from seconds to multiple times per day.

You can purchase your Spot 4G GPS pet tracker with a SIM + Telstra service we provide for $245. Your Spot GPS will be pre-setup on the Mobile App, and it will be delivered to you, ready to use out of the box for an entire year! The second year subscription is only $45 which is payable on the mobile App.
